Descrição

• Take ownership of lease accounting activities, ensuring accurate recognition, measurement, reassessment and reporting of leasing arrangements in line with international accounting standards.
• Partner with finance and operational stakeholders to identify new agreements, contract updates and key accounting impacts across multiple entities.
• Prepare and post accounting entries related to lease transactions, maintaining data integrity and compliance with reporting requirements.
• Manage ongoing lease accounting processes, including reconciliations, balance reviews and periodic reporting support.
• Oversee expected credit loss (ECL) calculations for financial assets, ensuring methodologies, assumptions and data inputs remain accurate and up to date.
• Maintain and enhance calculation models, supporting robust financial reporting and regulatory compliance.
• Perform account reconciliations and analytical reviews, identifying discrepancies and driving resolution with relevant stakeholders.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial close activities by providing technical accounting inputs and insights.
• Ensure adherence to accounting policies, internal controls and governance requirements.
• Contribute to process optimisation initiatives, helping improve efficiency, quality and consistency across finance operations.
• Act as a key contact during external audits, providing documentation, explanations and technical accounting support.
• Assist finance leadership with ad hoc analysis, reporting requests and specialised accounting projects.

Perfil ideal

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• Around 2+ years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, audit or a similar finance environment.
• Exposure to lease accounting and/or expected credit loss methodologies under international financial reporting standards.
• Strong understanding of balance sheet reconciliations, month-end close activities and financial controls.
• Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Comfortable working in an international and multi-entity environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across different teams and stakeholders.
• Proactive, organised and committed to continuous improvement.
• Fluent English skills are highly valued.
