Our client is a global leader in the energy sector and is recruiting an Accountant with an expected duration of 6 months to 1 year, with possible extension

responsabilidades chave

your role:

Maintenance of accounting records in the SAP system (invoices/purchases, fixed assets, sales, provisions, and deferrals);

Account reconciliations;

Month end closings

Balance sheet analysis

Provision of accounting information to support tax assessments;

Preparation and analysis of annual accounts and financial statements;

Control of balances and transactions between Group companies (intercompany);

Preparation of information for internal control and audits;

Participation in projects and collaboration with various areas of the organization, as required;

Proposing solutions to standardize, automate, improve, and simplify processes and procedures.

competências

If you have:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Management, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting roles;

Knowledge of IFRS standards is highly valued;

Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools;

Proficiency in English; knowledge of Spanish is highly valued;

Practical knowledge of the SAP system (FI, AA, MM, SD modules) is highly valued;

Knowledge of Power Query or other automation tools is also an asset.
