CoE Accounting partner:Decathlon Portugal

DESCRIPTION

  • Actively participate in the development of the Accounting Partner operating model
  • Be responsible for the accounting reliability of the internal client (country) under your responsibility
  • Ensure compliance with local and group deadlines and regulations
  • Perform monthly and quarterly accounting reviews, issue alerts for potential risks, and lead the resulting action plans
  • Provide technical support to the local team and CoE teams
  • Lead external and internal audits
  • Centralize communication between the internal client (country) under your responsibility and the group (consolidation team, CoE, etc)
  • Ensure internal client satisfaction through monthly debriefings of the satisfaction survey and lead the resulting action plans

PROFILE

  • Higher education degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, or Economics
  • Minimum of 4 to 5 years of experience in accounting, with a global view of company processes
  • Knowledge of IFRS standards
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel (preferably advanced)
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with internal teams and stakeholders
  • Sense of responsibility, with an authentic and dynamic attitude
  • Leadership and decision-making skills
  • Focus on continuous improvement and a customer-centric mindset
  • Planning, organizational, and analytical thinking skills
  • Adaptability and proactivity in change management (flexible and agile)
  • Passion for physical activity and/or sports
