Job Responsibilities

• Ensure the proper execution of administrative, financial, and accounting procedures in compliance with legislation, internal policies, and standards.
• Support the processing of administrative invoices and manage client, supplier, and bank account statements.
• Ensure the monthly and annual closing of the company's accounts.
• Manage and analyze cash flow and treasury operations.
• Perform account reconciliations for clients and suppliers to ensure accuracy.
• Handle tax calculations and related activities, ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
• Prepare and compile statistical reports for management review.
• Maintain organized files and documentation for easy retrieval and audit purposes.
• Receive and send correspondence and documents efficiently.
• Answer phone calls and manage emails professionally, providing excellent customer service.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience in administrative, financial, or accounting roles, preferably within a corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of financial procedures, accounting standards, and tax regulations in Portugal.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel, and familiarity with accounting software.
• Ability to analyze financial data and prepare detailed reports.
• Effective communication skills in Portuguese and English, both written and verbal.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
• Professional certification in accounting or finance is a plus.
