Fullstack Developer - Angular

Randstad is looking for a Fullstack Developer to join to our international client team and develop web applications for forecasters and operational meteorologists using the latest web tecnologies.

As a Web Full-Stack Developer, you'll have the opportunity to develop professional web applications for forecasters and operational meteorologists using the latest web technologies. In this role, you'll be responsible for implementing the backend using NestJS/Node.js and developing web components based on Angular in TypeScript to create highly interactive web applications. You will play a key role in reshaping the way weather and climate information is visualised and analysed, making a direct impact in the field of meteorology. As a Web developer, you will need to back up our customer support team, so you have to be prompt and resourceful to help fix the bugs that have appeared in the operating environment. Keep in mind that we actually solve the problems, not just shove them under the carpet so that they backfire at the most inappropriate moment later.

Open mind and willingness to explore new areas - meteorology is a rather specific field. However, we concentrate more on developing software tools to be used by meteorologists rather than on meteorological science.

Minimum 3 years of professional experience in developing web single-page applications (frontend and backend)

Advanced experience with backend frameworks (e.g., Express, NestJS, Next.js) and libraries (e.g., Socket.io, Apollo/GraphQL, Passport)

Knowledge of modern client-side web frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, Vue) and libraries (e.g., RxJS, NgRx, Leaflet), and willingness to learn new ones

Strong familiarity with development tools (e.g., Git, Yarn/NPM, Angular CLI/NX/Webpack, SASS/SCSS)

Experience in TypeScript/ES6+ programming Ability to read, write, and communicate in English

Candidate advantages
