We’re looking for an experienced Node.js Developer with strong backend development skills and a passion for building scalable and high-quality applications.

Your Profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field is preferred
• Proven professional experience as a Node.js Developer, Backend Developer or similar role
• Strong experience with Node.js and server-side JavaScript/TypeScript development
• Solid knowledge of TypeScript and/or JavaScript
• Experience with Node.js frameworks such as Express, NestJS, Fastify or similar
• Experience designing, developing and integrating RESTful APIs
• Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architectures
• Experience working with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL, MySQL or similar
• Knowledge of SQL, data modelling and database optimisation
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB, is valued
• Experience with Git and modern version control practices
• Experience writing and maintaining automated tests, using frameworks such as Jest or equivalent
• Understanding of API security and web application security best practices
• Experience with application deployment and modern DevOps practices
• Familiarity with Docker and containerised applications
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and contribute to scalable and maintainable solutions
• Experience working in Agile development environments
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Fluency in English

Nice to have:

• Experience with React or other frontend technologies
• Experience with GraphQL
• Knowledge of Kafka, RabbitMQ or other messaging systems
• Experience with microservices and distributed systems
• Experience with WebSockets or real-time applications
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure or GCP
• Experience with CI/CD platforms and cloud deployment
• Knowledge of Redis or other caching technologies
• Experience with observability tools such as OpenTelemetry, Prometheus or Grafana
