✨ Payroll Team Lead | Italian Speaker | Porto (Hybrid) ✨ We are looking for an experienced Payroll Team Lead to join a dynamic and international Shared Services environment, supporting the Italian market. This role combines payroll expertise, people leadership, stakeholder management, and process improvement, offering the opportunity to make a real impact while leading a high-performing team. 📍 Location: Porto, Matosinhos 🏠 Hybrid: 2 days at the office | 3 days remote 🚀 Your Mission As Payroll Team Lead, you will oversee and coordinate payroll and HR administration activities for Italy, ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely service delivery while driving operational excellence and team development. 🧩 Key Responsibilities ✅ Coordinate and support the end-to-end payroll cycle for the Italian market, including attendance, absences, overtime, holidays, sickness, maternity, and other payroll-related activities. ✅ Ensure compliance with Italian labour law, fiscal and social security regulations, and applicable Collective Bargaining Agreements (CCNLs). ✅ Lead, coach, and develop the Payroll team, fostering a high-performance culture while ensuring KPI and SLA achievement. ✅ Act as the main point of escalation for complex payroll and HR administration matters. ✅ Collaborate with HR, Finance, Labour Relations, external providers, and other key stakeholders to ensure seamless payroll operations. ✅ Monitor payroll data quality, validations, reconciliations, controls, and audit compliance requirements. ✅ Drive process improvement, standardization, digitalization, and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and service quality. 🔑 What We're Looking For ✔ Proven experience in Payroll, preferably within the Italian market ✔ Previous experience in team leadership, coordination, or people management ✔ Strong knowledge of Italian labour, fiscal, and social security regulations ✔ Experience with Payroll and HRIS platforms such as SAP HR, ADP, or similar systems ✔ Advanced Excel and reporting skills ✔ Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities ✔ Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills ✔ Fluent Italian and English (spoken and written) are mandatory 🌟 What's in It for You? 💼 Direct contract with the client 🏠 Hybrid working model (2 days office | 3 days remote) 💰 Attractive salary package + €9.60/day Meal Allowance 🎁 Annual flexible benefits voucher (health services, mobility, lifestyle benefits, and more) 📈 Career growth opportunities within an international and multicultural environment 🚀 Exposure to transformation, automation, and continuous improvement projects Ready to lead, inspire, and make an impact in an international payroll operation?
