IT Operations Specialist

As an IT Operations Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, continuity, and efficiency of IT services across stores and headquarters, supporting both local operations and global technology initiatives. Working closely with local and international IT teams, you will help deliver seamless technology experiences across multiple business locations.

📍 Location: Lisbon (Hybrid - 3 days per week on-site)

Responsibilities:

• Provide operational IT support for stores and headquarters, ensuring incidents and service requests are resolved efficiently.
• Support workplace technology, including hardware deployment, replacement, lifecycle management, and operational readiness.
• Maintain and support meeting room technology, workplace peripherals, telephony systems, and store IT equipment.
• Monitor and support local network infrastructure and connectivity services.
• Manage and maintain Active Directory and Azure AD groups following corporate standards and procedures.
• Maintain accurate IT asset inventories, configuration records, and CMDB data.
• Support the adoption, validation, and continuous improvement of CMDB processes and data quality.
• Execute and support the local implementation of global IT initiatives and projects.
• Collaborate with internal IT teams, business stakeholders, suppliers, and service providers to ensure service continuity.
• Coordinate escalations and follow up on operational issues to ensure timely resolution.
• Contribute to IT operational improvements, documentation, and service management best practices.
• Support local IT projects and technology transformation initiatives.

Required Skills:

• Previous experience in IT Operations, Infrastructure Support, Workplace Services, or similar technical support roles.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Experience supporting multi-site environments, ideally within retail or distributed business operations.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows environments, Active Directory, and Azure AD.
• Hands-on experience with hardware lifecycle management, asset management, and configuration management practices.
• Experience troubleshooting infrastructure, network, and connectivity issues.
• Familiarity with IT service management platforms and endpoint management solutions such as ServiceNow, Microsoft Intune, and Zscaler.
• Understanding of CMDB processes and IT operational governance.
• Knowledge of ITIL principles and best practices.
• Awareness of cybersecurity frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001 and NIS2 is a plus.
• Cisco networking knowledge, including CCNA certification or Cisco Meraki Solutions Specialist certification, is highly valued.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Professional proficiency in both Portuguese and English.
