We are looking for a Mid Machine Learning Engineer to join a hybrid project in Lisbon.

Salary range: 35.050€ – 45.400€ annual gross.

Profile:
- Professional with 3+ years of hands-on experience in the Machine Learning field;
- Minimum B2 level proficiency in English (oral and written);
- Strong Python programming skills (OOP, design patterns, clean code, pytest/unittest);
- Solid experience in SQL for data querying, manipulation, and pipeline integration;
- Hands-on expertise with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn) and model-serving APIs (FastAPI, Flask);
- Experience deploying models using Docker/Kubernetes and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins);
- Practical understanding of MLOps fundamentals (Git versioning, code reviews, model deployment, monitoring);
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) for ML workloads;
- Pragmatic problem-solver comfortable building MLOps practices from scratch in an open, non-hierarchical environment.

Responsibilities:
- Package, deploy, and productionize machine learning models developed by the data science team;
- Build, support, and maintain ML-focused CI/CD deployment pipelines;
- Establish model monitoring and alerting mechanisms in production to track performance and failures;
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable Python code aligned with team standards;
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Data Scientists and Data Engineers on model integration and data transformations;
- Optimize model performance, response times, and operational efficiency in production;
- Support the team in establishing and automating MLOps practices from the ground up.
