We are looking for  an Oracle DBA  to join a hybrid project in  Lisbon.

Salary range: 46.750€ - 58.000€ annual gross.

Profile:
- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or technical equivalent;
- 5 to 10 years of experience managing production Oracle database environments;
- Deep expertise in performance tuning, compression, query optimization, and resource efficiency;
- Hands-on experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, RMAN, OEM, PL/SQL, and Linux/Unix;
- Practical experience with ExaCC, ZFS, and ZDLRA is a strong plus;
- Familiarity with TDE encryption, Kerberos authentication, and audit/compliance controls;
- Professional English fluency (C1 mandatory); French or Dutch is a plus;
- EU/Schengen nationality or valid legal work permit for Portugal (hybrid in Lisbon).

Responsibilities:
- Optimize Oracle performance (query tuning, indexing, compression) to maximize ExaCC CPU/storage efficiency;
- Fine-tune CPU allocation algorithms on ExaCC and optimize backup/recovery on ZFS and ZDLRA;
- Lead technical projects, including Kerberos authentication migration and Oracle Client upgrades;
- Perform root-cause analysis on complex performance incidents escalated by infrastructure partners;
- Guide development teams on database design, SQL coding best practices, and scalability;
- Enforce TDE encryption, access control, auditing standards, and technical documentation;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support multi-platform environments (Azure SQL, PostgreSQL) as needed.
