Our client is a multinational asset management company working on the implementation of a new hub in Porto.

Descrição

• Perform oversight and monitoring of accounting, financial reporting, and central administration delegated activities;
• Review and validate accounting records, NAV-related controls, financial statements, and operational processes to ensure accuracy and compliance;
• Assess the effectiveness of internal controls and identify operational, financial, and regulatory risks;
• Conduct detailed reviews of service provider deliverables and challenge findings where necessary;
• Coordinate due diligence exercises and periodic oversight reviews of delegates involved in fund accounting and administration activities;
• Monitor KPIs, control reports, audit findings, and remediation plans to ensure timely resolution of identified issues;
• Prepare oversight reporting, control assessments, and executive summaries for management and governance committees;
• Support regulatory compliance activities and contribute to the continuous improvement of oversight frameworks, controls, and procedures;
• Support the execution of AML/CFT checks and regulatory assessments, as required;
• Ensure adherence to AIFMD, UCITS V, and CSSF Circular 18/698 requirements.

Perfil ideal

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Auditing, or a related field;
• 2-5 years of professional experience in Audit, Fund Accounting, Financial Reporting, Accounting, or related areas;
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and control frameworks;
• Experience performing reviews, reconciliations, control testing, or audit procedures;
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to investigate discrepancies and assess process effectiveness;
• High attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a risk-focused mindset;
• Ability to communicate findings clearly and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders;
• Fluency in English.
