Salesforce Project Manager

Lead end-to-end Salesforce programme delivery for a organisation in the energy sector, working within the world's largest IT services and consulting company on a long-term, high-impact engagement in Portugal.

We are hiring a Senior Salesforce Project Manager to own the full delivery lifecycle of complex Salesforce programmes, from planning through go-live and stabilisation, in a large enterprise environment with multiple clouds, integrations and cross-functional stakeholders.

What You Will Be Doing

• Lead end-to-end delivery of Salesforce programmes including planning, execution, go-live, stabilisation and closure
• Manage scope, budget, timeline, risks, dependencies, changes and quality assurance activities
• Maintain governance frameworks, project plans, milestones, reporting and financial controls
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, suppliers, workstreams and client stakeholders
• Provide leadership and direction to Salesforce Team Managers and project leads
• Facilitate steering committees, RAID reviews, financial reviews and executive governance meetings
• Monitor project health and proactively identify and mitigate risks
• Act as the main delivery point of contact for senior stakeholders and business sponsors
• Translate complex technical topics into clear business language
• Support proposals, estimations, statements of work, delivery plans and client presentations
• Lead go-live, cutover, handover and post-implementation review activities
• Drive continuous improvement of delivery processes, standards and governance practices

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in technology delivery, including at least 7 years managing complex projects or programmes
• Proven experience delivering Salesforce programmes in complex enterprise environments
• Strong background in Salesforce consulting, architecture, business analysis, technical delivery or engineering
• Experience delivering Salesforce initiatives involving multiple clouds, enterprise integrations, data migration, testing and release management
• Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall and hybrid delivery methodologies
• Experience managing budgets, forecasts, suppliers, distributed teams and executive stakeholders
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, negotiation and presentation skills
• Strong governance, risk management and commercial awareness

Nice to Have

• Experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Commerce Cloud, Marketing Cloud or Experience Cloud
• Exposure to MuleSoft, enterprise integrations, DevOps, release management and cloud operating models
• Experience in regulated or large-scale enterprise environments
• Experience supporting pre-sales activities, statements of work and commercial negotiations
• Salesforce certifications including Administrator, Consultant or Architecture-related certifications
• PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe, PMI-ACP, Scrum Master or equivalent certifications
