SAP FI/CO Consultant Senior (m/f/d)

Your Role in our Team

As an SAP Inhouse Consultant Finance (CO/FI), you play a key role in designing, optimizing, and driving modern finance processes, with a particular focus on SAP solutions. Working closely with business teams and IT colleagues across the company, you contribute to the delivery of high-quality IT services and products that support business success. With a strong agile mindset and a passion for shaping the future, you actively support the continuous development of finance processes and systems.

• You act as a trusted partner for business units, advising on end-to-end finance processes and their implementation in SAP CO and FI.
• You take ownership of cross-company projects, either as project lead or as a key contributor.
• You customize SAP solutions and perform functional and integration testing to ensure high-quality implementations.
• You translate business requirements into functional concepts and coordinate external service providers.
• You design and deliver user training sessions and provide support for the SAP Finance landscape in day-to-day operations.
• You actively contribute to the continuous improvement and modernization of the SAP environment.

Your Profile

Experience & Skills

• You hold a degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
• You bring several years (5+) of professional experience and a strong understanding of finance processes, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• You have a passion for analyzing, modeling, and optimizing business processes.
• You have hands-on experience with project management methodologies and collaborative work in complex environments.
• You possess knowledge of SAP Finance, Controlling, and PS in both SAP R/3 and SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Ideally, you have experience working with modern Business Intelligence tools.
• You demonstrate strong communication skills in both German and English.
• You bring a team-oriented mindset, a strong service orientation, and the ability to communicate effectively with different stakeholder groups.

Additional Qualifications

• You are fluent in English; German language skills are highly welcome.
• You are willing to travel approximately 10%.
