randstad is recruiting for a client, a renowned bank that´s seeking a Securities Reconciliation Officer

responsabilidades chave

your role:
Conducting detailed analysis and verification of securities and trades between internal and external positions
• Identifying and resolving cash gaps between internal and external cash accounts
• Overseeing and tracking invoices related to the custody of debt and equity securities
• Maintaining an accurate database of transactions between securities and cash accounts
• Responsible for reconciliations between securities and cash accounts, claim management, and custodians invoices
• Takes steps to resolve discrepancies and errors in cash accounts and in securities positions
• Oversees and tracks invoices related to the custody of debt and equity securities
• Leading the analysis of business requirements and suggesting improvements to enhance the quality of the reconciliations
• Supporting more junior Officers by sharing knowledge, providing technical guidance, and constructive feedback to foster a collaborative and inclusive environment that promotes learning and growth

competências

Bachelor's degree in Finance or Master's degree in Finance
• 3-5 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of securities products and securities/cash reconciliation
• Mastery of digital tools (e.g., MS Office package)
• Good English skills, both written and verbal.
