We are looking for a Senior Atlassian Architect

Responsible for the design, structuring, and security of the Jira Cloud architecture as part of its deployment.

Responsabilities

• Define the functional and technical architecture of the Jira Cloud instance;
• Establish governance, administration, and solution maintainability principles;
• Support the centralization of Jira spaces/projects while ensuring proper data segregation;
• Design Jira configuration models: issue types, workflows, screens, fields, roles, permissions, and notifications;
• Ensure cross-functional consistency across the different divisions, streams, and user teams;
• Identify risks of organizational drift, including configuration duplication, unmanaged workflows, overly permissive access rights, and excessive complexity;
• Propose reusable Jira standards to facilitate industrialization and maintenance
• Support project teams in defining their requirements and translating them into appropriate Jira solutions;
• Challenge requests to preserve the simplicity, clarity, and robustness of the instance;
• Support security-related topics, including access, roles, permissions, issue visibility, account management, and Atlassian best practices;
• Contribute to design, governance, and user/administrator documentation deliverables;
• Act as a trusted advisor to the client on Atlassian Cloud best practices.

Requirements

• Knowledge of JIRA and Atlassian tools;
• Knowledge of tool architecture and integration;
• Ability to write technical and functional documentation covering workflows and components implemented in the Jira instance;
• Strong knowledge of Jira permission and access schemes;
• Ability to define and execute a data migration plan between Jira instances or from a third-party tool to a Jira instance;
• Project management and execution of Proof of Concept (PoC) experiments;
• Ability to create training materials and facilitate workshops focused on tool onboarding, ideation, and adoption;
• Attention to detail;
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• English (written and spoken) mandatory;
• French (written and spoken) is a plus.
