We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join a hybrid project (2 days per week in the office) in Lisbon.

Salary range: 38 650,00€ - 42 700,00€ annual gross.

Profile:
- At least 5 years of experience in data engineering;
- Experience with Microsoft tools such as: Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Synapse or equivalent technologies;
- Experience in cloud environments: Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP);
- Good programming skills: SQL, Python, Spark or other scripting languages;
- Solid knowledge of: ETL/ELT workflows, data architecture, technical architecture design principles;
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git;
- Experience in troubleshooting, debugging and optimising workflows;
- Experience in code review and testing;
- Knowledge of DevOps/DataOps (an advantage);
- Experience with CI/CD applied to data, pipeline automation, modern deployment practices;
- Good communication skills and ability to report on progress/blockers;
- Organised and methodical approach, with a focus on quality and reliability;
- Relevant experience in cloud-native solutions and data architecture;
- Minimum B2 level English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain and optimise scalable data pipelines;
- Implement efficient and reliable ETL/ELT processes;
- Work with cloud platforms and modern data engineering tools;
- Ensure best practices in development, testing and code reviews;
- Collaborate with Analytics Engineering, Product Management and other technical teams;
- Identify, investigate and resolve technical issues related to performance and data workflows;
- Contribute to robust and scalable data architectures.
