We are looking for a visionary and technically proficient NetCyberOps Manager to lead cybersecurity operations within an international technology hub of excellence (Lisbon and Porto).

Key Responsibilities & Daily Activities

  • Recruit, mentor, and train security personnel, ensuring alignment with appropriate risk management and security procedures.
  • Develop policies, procedures, and protocols for standardization, governance, and operational excellence.
  • Manage team scheduling, task allocation, communication, and talent development; evaluate employee performance, provide regular feedback, and conduct recurring performance reviews.
  • Monitor and evaluate security incidents, assessing their impact and recommending or orchestrating the appropriate course of action.
  • Lead the identification, scoping, and implementation of strategic improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on the strategic development of security analysis capabilities and service offerings.
The Ideal Profile We Are Looking For
  • Solid knowledge of network protocols, Linux and Windows infrastructures, and basic network security architecture concepts.
  • Hands-on experience in technology automation, integration, and/or implementation.
  • Proven experience in evaluating cybersecurity maturity and drafting multi-year roadmaps to improve it; familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK and NIST CSF frameworks.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of security industry regulations and standards.
  • Strong ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical projects and systems solutions.
  • Master’s degree or equivalent work experience (at least 2 years in similar leadership/management roles).
  • Relevant cybersecurity certifications and training are considered a strong plus.
  • Fluent in English (both spoken and written) is mandatory.
  • Proven experience leading and developing a team of cybersecurity professionals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt to diverse audiences—from team members to partners and clients.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading process improvement and change management initiatives.
