We are looking for a Solution Architecture Lead to join a remote project in Portugal.

Salary range: up to 49 900,00€ annual gross.

Profile:
- Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience;
- Solid experience in Software/Solution Architecture;
- Experience in technical leadership or team management;
- Strong background in Software Engineering and Distributed Systems;
- Experience with AWS or Azure;
- Knowledge of High Availability, Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity and Resilience;
- Ability to manage technical debt and balance business needs with technological sustainability;
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills;
- Strong strategic thinking and execution skills;
- Fluent in English;
- Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a team of Solution Architects;
- Define the architecture strategy, vision and roadmap, in line with Enterprise Architecture;
- Ensure architectural alignment across different business areas and domains;
- Manage and reduce technical debt, ensuring the evolution and sustainability of the platforms;
- Promote scalable, secure, cloud-native and fault-tolerant architectures;
- Define and implement practices for High Availability, Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity and Resilience;
- Provide technical support to the Engineering and Product teams in defining solutions;
- Promote modern patterns such as Event-Driven Architecture, Domain-Driven Design and API-First;
- Ensure alignment between Engineering, Architecture, Security and Product.
