WMS Engineer

Join the IT organisation of a global transport and logistics company operating in more than 80 countries, supporting road, air, sea and contract logistics with end-to-end supply chain and freight solutions

We are currently hiring both WMS Engineers and WMS IT Support Specialists to join a global Contract Logistics IT organisation supporting warehouse operations across multiple countries and sites worldwide. This is an opportunity to work with Blue Yonder / JDA Dispatcher, one of the leading Warehouse Management Systems in the logistics industry, within a highly international and business-critical environment.

What You Will Be DoingWMS Engineer

• Design, implement and continuously improve Warehouse Management System solutions
• Develop monitoring, alerting and self-healing mechanisms for WMS platforms
• Ensure application stability, performance and reliability through proactive troubleshooting
• Collaborate with business and IT teams to deliver warehouse technology solutions
• Integrate WMS platforms with external systems through APIs and web services
• Implement testing, deployment and validation practices
• Contribute to the standardisation and scalability of warehouse solutions across regional sites
• Maintain and enhance WMS applications with a focus on reusability, documentation and continuous improvement

WMS IT Support Specialist

• Provide technical and functional support for Blue Yonder / JDA Dispatcher environments
• Manage incidents, troubleshooting activities and system administration tasks
• Support implemented warehouse management systems across multiple sites and regions
• Collaborate with logistics teams, infrastructure teams and project stakeholders
• Configure and maintain WMS environments to ensure smooth warehouse operations
• Consult internal stakeholders on technical questions and process improvements
• Ensure high service quality and operational continuity for business-critical applications

What We Are Looking For

• Minimum 3+ years of experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Hands-on experience with Blue Yonder Dispatcher / JDA Dispatcher
• Experience within logistics, transportation, warehousing or supply chain environments
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases
• Experience in WMS implementation, configuration, administration or support
• Ability to gather, understand and challenge business requirements
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders in international environments
• English level B2 or above

Additional Requirements for WMS Engineers

• Knowledge of Unix/Linux environments
• Shell scripting experience
• Programming background in Java, C# or Python
• Experience with APIs, web services and systems integration
• Knowledge of automated deployment, testing and validation practices

Nice to Have

• PL/SQL knowledge
• Oracle databases
• Jenkins/Groovy pipelines
• Cloud-native platforms and microservices
• Citrix and surrounding warehouse technologies
• Experience with large-scale WMS rollouts and global projects
• Knowledge of solution architecture and systems lifecycle management
