Our client is a large organization in the Automotive industry, with a global presence. The group is now preparing for the implementation of a new Regional Shared Service Centre.

• Join a growing international finance operations environment and take ownership of a defined Accounts Payable scope within a shared services structure;
• Lead and support an Accounts Payable team, ensuring high service quality, efficient execution, and continuous performance improvement;
• Oversee end-to-end AP activities, including invoice processing, payment execution, supplier account reconciliations, and issue resolution;
• Monitor payment deadlines, outstanding balances, and operational KPIs to ensure compliance with service levels;
• Act as the main escalation point for supplier and stakeholder queries related to invoices and payment;
• Prepare operational reports, performance analysis, and management information to support decision-making,
• Drive process optimization initiatives, identifying opportunities to increase efficiency and strengthen controls;
• Collaborate closely with Finance, Procurement, and other business stakeholders to streamline processes and resolve discrepancies;
• Support month-end activities, audits, and governance reporting requirements;
• Contribute to knowledge transfer and transition projects, ensuring smooth onboarding of new processes and activities;
• Coach and develop team members, promoting a collaborative and high-performing culture;
• Availability and willingness to travel internationally when required.

Perfil ideal

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field;
• 5+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or Finance Operations, including previous team leadership or supervisory responsibilities;
• Strong understanding of AP processes, controls, reconciliations, and supplier management;
• Experience working within a Shared Services Centre (SSC) or international finance environment is highly valued;
• Proven ability to analyse processes, identify improvement opportunities, and implement effective solutions;
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills;
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and results;
• Experience working with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, or similar systems;
• Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with reporting and KPIs;
• Fluent English and Dutch are mandatory;
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving, and multicultural environment;
• Availability to travel as part of the role.
