• Prepare and review financial statements and management reports for clients.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Perform account and bank reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Maintain accurate, organised, and up-to-date accounting records.
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting operations and improve efficiencies.
• Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Leverage technology and digital tools to optimise financial processes and reporting.
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients on accounting-related matters.

Perfil ideal

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;
• Certified Accountant (TOC) from OCC is a plus.
• 3+ years of experience in an accounting setting is preferred.
• Proficiency in accounting principles, financial reporting, and account reconciliation.
• Deep knowledge of Portuguese tax regulations and compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with accounting software and tools (experience with Cegid Business is a plus).
• Strong analytical skills and sharp attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to interact with fast-moving founders.
• Fluency in Portuguese; proficiency in English is an advantage.
• Eagerness to work in a fast-paced, early-stage tech environment.
