• Support daily accounting activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal procedures.
• Process accounting documentation, including invoices, expenses and supporting financial records.
• Perform accounting entries and maintain accounting records up to date.
• Prepare account reconciliations and assist in the resolution of outstanding items.
• Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities when required.
• Assist with month-end closing activities and reporting preparation.
• Ensure proper organization and filing of accounting and tax documentation.
• Support the preparation of information requested by auditors, tax authorities and other external stakeholders.
• Assist in maintaining accurate master data and financial information within the ERP system.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting and administrative processes.

Perfil ideal

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Management, Finance or a related field.
• 5 to 6 years of experience in an Accounting Technician, Accounting Assistant or similar position.
• Basic understanding of Portuguese accounting and tax principles.
• Experience working with accounting software or ERP systems.
• Experience with SAP ERP will be considered a strong advantage.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage routine tasks efficiently while meeting deadlines.
• Team player with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Comfortable working in an international and fast-paced environment.
